On this episode of A One Pint Stand, I sit down with Bri Smith and Sophia Missaghi who are both brewers in the Minnesota craft beer industry. Bri, the first black female brewer ever in Minnesota brews at Modist Brewing in Minneapolis and Sophia is a brewer at 10K Brewing in Anoka. In addition to being female brewers, they are both members of Brewing Change Collaborative. While we share many a laugh on this episode, Bri and Sophia also share about the struggles and inequities when it comes to being female brewers in this male dominated craft beer industry. Bri and Sophia are both strong women who have found their support systems. They share a lot of wisdom and advice to others about what it takes to persevere. This is a wonderful episode and hopefully you will enjoy listening as much as I enjoyed putting it together. Cheers!
